Work Experience Program

Our secondary student Work Experience Program is offered to school based students in Years 10-12.
Our program is designed to provide an opportunity for insight into a range of careers in industry and health care. Students observe and work beside a professional buddy to gain a realistic understanding of the work environment and the career role.

The program is run four times a year in the following areas:

• Business Administration
• Dietetics
• Engineering (Fitter & Turner, Electrical, Gardening, Painting)
• Food Services
• Human Resources
• Information Technology
• Library
• Medical Imaging
• Medicine
• Nursing
• Occupational Therapy
• Pharmacy
• Physiotherapy
• Speech Pathology

Applications are processed through school Careers Advisors and should include a completed Work Experience Application Form and student resume.
