HINTS & TIPS Make your application personal Where possible use examples when addressing the key selection criteria Make sure you know what your referees are going to say about you (there’s nothing wrong with asking) Make sure you address all documentation to the correct hospital Ensure that all requested documentation is uploaded Get yourself known, email the Graduate Nurse Midwifery Program Coordinator and ask questions about the program If you don’t usually wear jewellery, avoid wearing it to an interview because you will fiddle with it Try to relax the interviews aren’t as scary as you think they are, be yourself Do some research about the hospital before your interview and know about the Graduate Nursing /Midwifery program you are applying for If you are nervous about your interview, google nursing interview questions and practice your responses with friends or a family member Attend an information session to hear more about the program Find the program that is the right fit for you Remember you are only starting out your career ask yourself: Has it got enough support? Are there rotations that interest you? How many study days do they offer? Will I see or hear from my graduate coordinator? How big is the cohort size? What is the retention rate after the graduate year? What EFT are they offering? Will this program fit with my life i.e family, children etc?

GRADUATE REGISTERED NURSES / MIDWIVES - APPLICATIONS & INTERVIEWS At CGH we believe that our personalised approach sets us apart when supporting our Graduates and staff. We have one small cohort of Graduate Registered Nurses / Graduate Registered Midwives who commence their program in February each year. The computer match process is a two-part application process, all eligible students will first need to register with the Post Graduate Medical Council of Victoria (PMCV) and submit their list of hospital preferences. Following this, each applicant will then need to submit an application directly to each hospital on their preference list. PMCV Match opens Monday 2nd June 2025 at 10:00am, closes Wednesday 2nd July at 17:00. Face to face interviews will take place at CGH between Monday 21st July and Friday 7th August 2025. Zoom interviews can be arranged via special request. APPLICATIONS: PART ONE - PMCV: CGH complies with the PMCV Computer Matching process. Following the closing date for applications, each application will be examined and invitations for interview will be emailed to successful candidates. These invitations will ask you to open the attached link and select a time and date for interview. At CGH we understand that interviews can be daunting, and we try to make it as nice as possible for you. Our interviews consist of a 30-minute panel interview in which there are 2-3 interviewers (Graduate Nurse and Midwifery Program Coordinator (GNMP), NUMs, HR representatives etc) and yourself. GRADUATE NURSE & MIDWIFERY PROGRAMMES The Graduate Nursing and Midwifery Program at CGH is specifically designed for those who have completed a double degree Nursing and Midwifery course, and in 2026 CGH will be taking up to 2 positions in this program. We will also be offering 2 positions for Graduate Midwifery Direct Entry. Within both of these streams, we aim to develop confident and competent midwives with clinical exposure given across both general nursing and midwifery areas. Our health service is able to offer Graduates access to our level 4 neonatal newborn service and level 3 maternity service. FREEDOM OF INFORMATION All requests for patient information can be emailed to foi@cghs.com.au The Victorian Freedom of Information (FOI) Act 1982 gives you the right to access documents about your personal affairs, including medical records and the activities of government agencies. Requests for access to your Central Gippsland Health record can be made in writing to: The Freedom of Information Officer Central Gippsland Health Service 155 Guthridge Parade Sale Vic 3850 or email foirequest@cghs.com.au FOI applications must: be in writing – not verbal clearly describe the documents you are requesting access to include the application fee or evidence that you qualify to have the application fee waived be made to the agency that holds the documents you are seeking. You can make a request yourself or you can authorise another person (for example, a solicitor) to make a request on your behalf. If you want someone to make a request on your behalf for your personal information, you must give them your written authorisation. In the case of requesting information relating to a deceased person, the consent of the person’s most senior next of kin who is of or above the age of 18 years is required. Proof of this relationship is required. FOI APPLICATION FORM There are two costs associated with making a FOI request – an application fee and access charges. These charges are set by government regulations. An access charge is applied under the Act for processing your request. Access charges are applied according to the nature of the request and could include search fees ($23.80 per hour), photocopying (20 cents per page), providing written transcripts of a recorded document ($20 per hour). The application fee can be waived if payment is likely to cause you hardship. If you wish to make a claim to have the fee waived you must provide evidence that you receive social security benefits eg: a current social security benefits or health benefits card. The Freedom of Information Act 1982 stipulates all FOI requests shall be completed within 30 days of the Health Information Unit receiving a valid request form and payment. All FOI requests are treated in strictest confidence, as per the Central Gippsland Health Service Confidentiality Policy. Requests requiring interpretation of, or opinion on medical records or reports will be referred to the Chief Medical Officer for separate consideration. GENERAL SURGERY MR PAUL STRAUSS Paul is a General Surgeon with a particular interest in Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery, Breast Surgery and other aspects of General Surgery including Laparoscopic Cholecytectomy, Laparoscopic Appendecetomy, and Laparoscopic Incisional and Groin Hernia Repairs. MR MASIMBA NYANDOWE Attaining his primary medical qualification from Godfrey Huggins School of Medicine (now the Zimbabwe College of Health Science) Dr Masimba Nyandowe is an Australian trained Specialist Laparoscopic, Breast, General Surgeon and Endoscopist. Masimba holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Zimbabwe, a Master of Public Health from Deakin University, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He comes to Central Gippsland Health from Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane where he has worked since August 2021. Masimba maintains a public appointment with Central Gippsland Health providing specialist Breast, Thyroid, Laparoscopic, General and Endoscopic surgery and is taking new referrals. Masimba treats a broad spectrum of surgical illness with special interests in laparoscopic surgery for bowel, hernia and gallbladder conditions as well as treating invasive and benign breast conditions in a multidisciplinary setting in a wholistic approach. DR AMANDA YOUNG Dr Amanda Young trained at Royal Prince Albert Hosptial and has a fellowship with RACS. Dr Amanda Young’s surgical expertise include trauma, laparoscopic surgery, thyroid, breast and emergency vascular procedures including hernia, gallbladder, varicose veins and skin lesions, colorectal surgery, thyroid, breast, laparoscopic surgeries, skin lesions including flaps and grafts, paediatric and adult circumcision, correction of undescended testis, varicose vein surgery, hernia surgery, hand surgeries like ganglion removal, carpel tunnel release, dupuytrens contracture release, haemorrhoidectomy-open and stapled, fissure and fistula surgeries, general and emergency paediatric surgeries. Dr Amanda Young commenced with CGH 5 February 2024 and has over 20 years experience. DR KUDA GALKETIYA Dr Kuda Galketiya is an experienced Consultant General Surgeon with more than three decades of clinical practice across Australia, the UK and Sri Lanka. Prior to commencing at CGH he was at Mildura Base Public Hospital and is also an Adjunct Senior Lecturer with the School of Rural Health, Monash University. Dr Galketiya is trained in a broad range of general surgical procedures, including thyroid, breast, upper gastrointestinal, colorectal, gall bladder, hernia and skin surgery, with expertise in open, laparoscopic and endoscopic techniques. He has extensive experience in emergency and complex surgical care. Dr Galketiya holds qualifications including MBBS, MS, FRCS (Edin) and FRACS, and has held senior academic and teaching roles throughout his career. He has contributed extensively to surgical education and research, with numerous peer-reviewed publications and leadership roles in training surgeons at all levels. He is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care while supporting the ongoing development of surgical services and education. GENERAL MEDICINE DR VITTAL JADHAV Vittal has completed his Post Graduate Medical training in United Kingdom and has worked nearly 20 years in National Health Service United Kingdom. Prior to joining CGH, Vittal was Head of Service for Acute Medicine at the University Hospitals of Leicester, United Kingdom. He has obtained postgraduate qualifications of Membership of Royal College Physicians of United Kingdom and Fellowship of Royal College of Physicians United Kingdom. He has been a trained professional Mentor, Supervisor and Appraiser. His areas of interest are General and Acute Internal medicine. He has a special interest in Quality Improvement, Safe and Effective Delivery of Medical Patient Care Services. He has special interests in Acute and General Medicine. He will be consulting from CGH Consulting Suites on Mondays and Wednesdays. He would be happy to receive referrals from General Practitioners, Specialist community Nurses, Better@Home team and Values Based Health Care Practitioners. Currently Vittal provides acute support to medical and critical care inpatients in addition to General Medicine outpatient clinics. DR NIZAM UDDIN Dr A.K.M Nizam Uddin is a Consultant Respiratory & Sleep Medicine specialist and General physician at Central Gippsland Hospital. Dr Nizam completed his basic Physician training at Box Hill Hospital and Monash Medical Centre he completed his advanced training in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine from St. Vincent’s Hospital and Monash Medical Centre. He also received his fellowship in Internal Medicine and trained at Monash Health. he then completed a Clinical Research Fellowship year at Monash Lung & Sleep Centre. His special interests include difficult to treat Asthma, COPD, vocal cord dysfunction, lung cancer and complex sleep related breathing disorders. He is currently researching difficult to treat asthma and vocal cord dysfunction patients for their proper phenotyping. Dr Nizam is also currently running a research project along with Monash Dental team for approaching a reasonable treatment plan for mild to moderate sleep disorder patients. DR MINZ CHEAH Minz completed his MBBS at Melbourne University in 2006 and continued his junior medical training at Eastern Health. He joined the Royal Australasian College of Physician in 2010 obtaining fellowship in 2016. He then completed his advanced training and maintained his affiliation with Monash Health as a consultant physician. Minz enjoys spending time with his patients going through their conditions and management plans, promoting evidence-based medicine and patient disease awareness and health literacy. Currently Minz supports CGH as an Acute Care Medicine Specialist taking all general medicine patients and has a special interest in Cardiology and Perioperative Care. Currently Minz provide acute support to medical and critical care inpatients in addition to Cardiology Consulting services and Stress Testing outpatient clinics. DR K SOMILA SILVA Dr. Somila Silva completed his undergraduate (1996) and postgraduate (2004) as a Physician at University of Colombo. He has been working in different health care systems in Australia since 2004, including Alfred-Peninsula, Austin-Bendigo, Geelong- Western and Ballarat Health consortiums. He completed his FRACP exams and dual training in Internal medicine and Geriatric medicine and attained Fellowship from Royal Australian College of Physicians in 2013. He has been working as a consultant Geriatrician and General Physician at University Hospital Geelong since 2014. His specialties/interests are cognitive assessments (Dementia), falls and balance assessments, comprehensive geriatric assessments and ortho geriatric assessments. He also has extensive experience in general medicine. DR DIVYANSHU DIA Dr Dua is a medical oncologist trained across Australia and UK. He attained his primary degree in India from Manipal Academy of Higher Education followed by initial senior house officer positions in the UK and eventually commencing FRACP in Adelaide South Australia. He completed his training with fellowship in early phase clinical trials and drug development. He was recruited from UK back to Australia and commenced as a staff specialist at the Mildura Base Hospital in Victoria as the first ever resident medical oncologist in 2014. He joined Canberra Hospital in June 2016 and finished in June 2023. He was the member of the TCH private practice fund for 2 years and chair for 1 year. He views the geriatric oncology service as his legacy which has provided exceptional oncology and geriatric multidisclipnary care under one clinic. The geriatric model developed at the Canberra hospital is unique in its sustainability and its applicability. This model was well acknowledged across the world. He has done multiple international poster presentations on this work. During his employment he did numerous oral and poster presentations including CHARM presentations at the Canberra Hospital. This has not been a solo effort but he sees this as a team effort with support from medical oncology, allied heath and geriatrics. He received multiple research grants via the TCH private practice fund during his employment. Dr Dua’s special interests include thoracic malignancies including lung cancer, mesothelioma and thymoma. Genitourinary malignancies especially prostrate cancer, bladder, renal and testicular cancers. Breast cancer and metastatic melanoma. Dr Dua is happy for referrals to the following effect for diagnostic work up for cancer, medical oncology cancer surveillance (breast, melanoma, brain, lung and genitourinary), cancer related symptom management. DR SHREE NAGENDRAM Consultant Endocrinologist, MBBS (IMU), FRCP (Edinburgh) FRACP(Endocrinology) Dr Shree consults on diabetes and endocrinological problems including Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, obesity, osteoporosis, thyroid, pituitary and adrenal disease. Her interest in clinical research has been in obesity and diabetes. OBSTETRICS & GYNAECOLOGY DR NUZHAT ZIA Clinical Head of Unit Dr. Nuzhat Zia has her MBBS from Khyber Medical College, Peshawar, Pakistan. She has her Diploma in Obstetrics from Royal College of Physicians in Ireland. She has her fellowship from Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, England. She has also completed her fellowship from Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Dr. Zia is a member of British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP) and Australian Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ASCCP). Dr. Zia has an extensive experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology in Australia and overseas (Ireland, UK, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan) Dr. Zia led the team which started Anunga Bibi Program which provides safe Obstetric care to all Aboriginal women in South Australia. This program was so successful that this model was followed in different parts of Australia. Dr. Zia was also a lecturer and examiners with University of Adelaide Medical School. She was also appointed as a mentor for overseas specialists by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her interests are to save motherhood, prevention strategies in Gynaecology, high risk pregnancy, sub fertility, Gynaecology surgery including laparoscopic procedures. DR SANDHYA GUPTA Experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with 35 years of total clinical experience and around 30 years of progressive leadership and responsibility in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in large and small hospital networks. Sandhya is a strong believer of women centered care and is a passionate women advocate. With a special focus on Gynaecologic laparoscopic surgery, high-risk obstetrics, cancer prevention strategies and subfertility with keen interest in Gynaecological Robotic Surgery. The various services include minimally invasive, traditional abdominal and vaginal surgery for a range of gynaecological conditions like endometriosis, PCOS, prolapse apart from colposcopy, termination of pregnancy, care during high-risk pregnancy etc. She has basic and post-graduate degrees from India, England and Australia. She is a recipient of two gold medals during her under and postgraduate training. She is trained in advanced laparoscopy from University Hospitals Schleswig-Holstein, Kiel, Germany, a world-renowned Gynaecology Laparoscopic centre. Sandhya is a passionate educator, worked for 2 years as a Senior Lecturer in the Reproductive Health Unit at James Cook University. Conducted academics & training under-graduates, DNB and post-graduate students for last 30 years in various hospital appointments and conducting the MRCOG preparatory courses for last 10 years. She continues to enjoy teaching the trainees and medical students and is well appreciated. A very dedicated patient-centric clinician and women’s advocate for more than three decades with clinical and academic experience in Australia, India and Papua New Guinea. She has had an enriching clinical experience in varied settings including public and private as well as low-resource and some of the best quaternary institutes in the world. She is sensitive to socio-cultural diversities and innovative in challenging circumstances due to this varied experience. She established the Gynaecological laparoscopy unit and performed the first Laparoscopic Gynaecological surgery in PNG. Was also involved in the infection control committee of the hospital and the pilot project for the cervical cancer vaccine program for the country. Back in India and PNG, she helped create and implement various clinical protocols like Hysterectomy, cesarean section and vaginal birth clinical pathways. She worked as part of the tumor board team for multi-disciplinary management of all cancer patients. She established the Lamaze antenatal classes in collaboration with the physiotherapy department. She has many publications to her credit including development of a device for safe episiotomy. Her most recent publications include original articles in international journals, the FIGO Fistula Manual and co-editor for the Textbook on Ambulatory Uro-gynaecology. DR THANGA ANNAIAH Dr Thanga Annaiah is a Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology with 15 years of experience in the NHS Dr Thanga completed her MBBS from Bangalore Medical College in India in 1995. She went on to complete a Master’s degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at St John’s Medical College Bangalore, India. She subsequently worked for 3 years in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology unit in a Premier National Institute in India. (JIPMER). Dr Thanga commenced in the UK in 2005 and completed her Speciality Training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in July 2013. She completed her membership exam of the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologists in 2007. She received a special mention from the President of the College for her performance in the examination. Dr Thanga has a special interest in acute gynaecology, vaginal discharge, menstrual irregularities, post-menopausal bleeding, general gynaecology, ultrasound, premenstrual syndrome, hormone replacement treatment, vulval pain, perineal wounds, and scarring after childbirth. DR MIRAS BEBULATOV Dr. Miras is a fully qualified specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist accredited by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG). Dr Miras has gained his extensive experience and expertise in Gynaecology and Obstetrics by studying, training and working in different parts of the world for more than 20 years. Since moving to Australia in 2003, he worked at the variety of Australian hospitals including the first and the largest specialist hospital in Australia – The Royal Women’s Hospital (Melbourne), and the largest maternity care provider in Victoria – Monash Women’s (Monash Medical Centre, Victoria). Dr Miras has a reputation for being a caring and compassionate doctor, who always considering his patients’ best interests. As a specialist with a strong academic and practical background, he firmly believes that medicine should always be practiced with holistic approach and evidence based. Miras’ main expertise is Gynaecologic Surgery and especially Minimally Invasive Procedures. He has a special interest in the surgical treatment of various gynaecological conditions such as pelvic organs prolapse and urinary incontinence, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian cysts among others. Dr Miras provides office procedures such as colposcopy and vulvoscopy with or without biopsy, pipelle endometrial biopsy, insertion and removal of intrauterine devices (Mirena and copper IUD), incision and drainage of a Bartholin cyst or abscess et cetera. Miras’ passion in finding new surgical procedures and most modern management options to help his patients drive him to ascertain more knowledge and experience all around Australia and the World. He regularly attends a wide range of trainings, master classes and workshops in the United States of America (Global Academy for Medical Education) , United Kingdom (London Medical Education Centre) and Australia. DR RAJA TEWARI PAEDIATRICS DR MUSTAFA ADAMJI Dr Adamji completed his medical training in New Zealand, having worked at multiple paediatric centres both rural/regional and urban centres, including Wellington, Auckland, and rural New Zealand such as Whakatane, Palmerston North. He received his FRCAP in 2019 and been working as a consultant since then. He has held various roles/positions as a Paediatrician, including supervision of inpatient and outpatient referrals, teaching students and junior doctors, oncall, coverage of ED/HDU departments, Community Referrals, Community Care. He has worked in the ambulatory setting providing outpatients consultation and inpatient care. His special interests include paediatric gastroenterology and general paediatrics. DR DULSHANIE SILVA Dr Dulshanie Silva completed her primary medical education at the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. She then undertook her postgraduate in general paediatrics in both rural and tertiary hospitals in Sri Lanka and Australia, including Lady Ridgeway Hospital in Sri Lanka, Armadale Health Service in Western Australia, Monash Health and Central Gippsland Health. Dr Silva received her FRACP in 2024. Her field of special interest includes General Paediatrics and Developmental Paediatrics. DR ABRAHAM OOOMEN Dr Oommen completed his paediatric training in the United Kingdom, obtained his FRCPCH in 2013 and has been a consultant in the NHS at Milton Keynes hospital for 20 years. His initial medical and paediatric training was in India and as a trainee in the UK, he was awarded an MD from the University of Leicester for research on preschool children with wheeze. As a consultant, he has performed various roles such as lead for Asthma, High Dependency care and medical school teaching with the University of Buckingham. His special interests include general paediatrics and paediatric asthma. DR GRAHAM BARRINGTON Dr Graham Barrington completed his primary medical degree at the University of Melbourne and his specialist advanced training in paediatrics at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne, and at the Northern hospital, Sunshine hospital and Austin hospital. He trained in behavioural and neurodevelopmental paediatrics at the Centre for Community Child Health at RCH and obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in general paediatrics in 2022. He worked as a paediatric emergency physician in 2022 and 2023 at the Austin hospital and has worked as a staff specialist general paediatrician at the Central Gippsland Health Service from 2024 as well as operating a private paediatric practice at the Nillumbik Specialist Centre in Eltham. Dr Barrington has published research in Autism and written narrative and is a member of INSAR (the International Society for Autism Research) and the Australasian Society for Behavioural Paediatrics. Dr Barrington held senior management positions in health and community sectors after completing an MBA from the Melbourne Business School (2000) and a Master of Public Health from UNSW (1999). His executive roles have included Deputy Medical Director of the Mercy hospital, Director of Medical Services at Box Hill hospital, Director of Medical Services at Werribee Mercy hospital, chairperson of a large community legal service and chairperson of a national private commercial business in the school sector. He has completed a Master of Applied Science (Cognitive Science) from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Melbourne leading to a publication in the area of Artificial Intelligence and intelligent agents and a Master of Data Science (2022) from the Science Faculty of the University of Melbourne specialising in Machine Learning and computational genomics. Dr Barrington maintains an interest in general paediatrics, child development and the intersection of technology and medicine.

LAUNDRY SERVICES Sale Linen Service (SLS) is a business unit of Central Gippsland Health (CGH), which is a major provider of health, community and residential aged care services in the Wellington Shire. SLS employs 41 local Gippsland staff, providing approximately $1.6 million of wages into the local community. Its customer base stretches from East to South Gippsland and everywhere in between. Current production has reached an average of 180 tonnes of linen provided per month. SLS currently operates 12 hours per day where needed, Monday to Friday and provides transport and delivery to customers seven days a week providing linen requirements for major regional health services such as Latrobe Regional Hospital, Bairnsdale Regional Health Service, Maryvale Hospital and Gippsland Southern Health Service, as well sub regional health services, medical centres, aged care facilities and hospitality clients. As a business unit of CGH, revenue generated is returned to CGH to support projects and procurement of infrastructure and medical equipment, assisting in providing high quality health care to the community. The SLS laundry plant facility had a $1.2 million upgrade in 2014, making it one of the most up to date plants in Australia. The upgrade to the washing, drying, ironing and folding lines was complemented by another $250,000 upgrade in August 2017, where two more additional folding and conditioning machines were installed. These efficient processing machines build in extra capacity to process linen in a shorter timeframe. SLS can provide all healthcare linen such as sheeting, blankets, towelling, kitchen linen, bed linen, gowns, theatre scrub suits and sterilised theatre pre-packs. It also specialises in the processing of residential aged care clothing for residents. HEYFIELD HOSPITAL BOARD OF MANAGEMENT RAELENE HANRATTY, CHAIR Raelene has been a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors since July 2015. Raelene and her husband Dennis dairy farm at Upper Maffra West where they have raised 7 children. Raelene is dedicated to the local community and has held many executive committee positions on various organisations. She is currently the Deputy Chair of Southern Rural Water’s ‘Macalister Customer Consultative Committee’, the secretary of the Heyfield Tennis Club, and the treasurer of the Nambrok Newry Junior Football Club. Raelene is committed to ensuring that Heyfield Hospital and Laurina Lodge provide quality services to the Heyfield and District community. Appointed to the Board in 2015. ANNE WOOTON, VICE CHAIR Ann has been in executive and general management since 1998. Ann’s career has been in professional services, firstly in Australian law firms in knowledge and operational management, moving to the compliance and risk management services industry in executive management roles. Her most recent executive role was in the Property services industry and as an executive director of a global risk management company. She has worked with clients from major Australian banks to Fortune 500 organisations globally. Ann was employed by SAI Global from 2000 – 2017, an ASX-200 public company until acquired by private equity and delisted in December 2016. For the majority of this time, Ann was in executive management positions in Australia and the USA. Firstly, as General Manager of the APAC Compliance Division, followed by President of the Americas Compliance Division. Ann was most recently the Director of the Property Division achieving significant year-on-year growth, with annual revenue in excess of $180m. Ann was also an Executive Director and member of EXCO of this global organisation. Ann has recently retired to Gippsland in country Victoria and is on a steep learning curve in developing a very different skills set! PETER SKEELS Peter has over 36 years’ experience in the provision of financial, commercial, and strategic advice within the utility and service provision industries. His past roles have included Financial Planning and Strategy, Chief Financial Officer and General Manager, Customer Services. Peter is currently employed with Gippsland Water where his substantive role is General Manager, Operations. In recent years, Peter has been extensively involved in the justification, financing, construction and delivery of the Gippsland Water Factory project, a $230m advanced wastewater treatment and recycling project located near Morwell, Victoria. Peter holds a Bachelor of Business, Monash University with majors in Accounting and Economics and is a Fellow of the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants (FCPA). He has held the following voluntary appointments, Past Chairman, Gippsland Branch CPA 1998 – 2004, Director and Deputy Chairman, Gippsland Grammar School, Sale 2004 – 2013 and Director Heyfield Hospital Incorporated 2014 – present. Peter’s primary recreational interests revolve around scuba diving where he is recognised by the Professional Association of Diving Instructors as a Master Scuba Diver Trainer and with Technical Diving International as an Instructor. Appointed to the Board in 2014. JOHN SUNDERANN John was educated at Heyfield primary school and Gippsland Grammar, spending a semester at the University of Illinois in year 12. On finishing school, John has worked on the family farm at Heyfield running angus cattle stud, a poll Dorset sheep stud and a dairy farm. John has been President of the Catholic College (Sale) school Board, Secretary/Treasurer of the Seaton Fire Brigade, Secretary and Treasurer of the Heyfield Golf Club and a member of the Macalister Consultative Committee for Irrigators. Appointed to the Board in 2014. SARAH CHRISTIAN Sarah grew up in Heyfield and completed a Bachelor of Science at Melbourne University. After travelling overseas and working at the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children in London UK, she returned to Australia to complete a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at Flinders University in Adelaide. Sarah completed her specialist training with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2014. She enjoys teaching and also works part time for Eastern Victoria GP Training as a Medical Educator and Training Advisor. She is passionate about addressing the rural shortage of Doctors and medical services. Sarah has three beautiful children and loves spending time with her extended family. Appointed to the Board in 2017. LIZ DRIFFIELD Appointed to the Board in 2023. GLEN WILLIAMSON (OBSERVER) Since 2019, Glen has been a Commercial Executive looking after 7 small global businesses in the role of Chief Operations Officer for a private entrepreneur with a combined turnover of $50 million dollars, covering all facets of operations such as Risk Strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions and Financial Governance in industries as varied as Technology Hardware, Digital Software Services, Motor Sport and Meal Replacement Shakes across a multitude of geographies. Prior to that, Glen was a Global Procurement professional for more than 20 years. Glen brings experience across the Retail, Pharmacy Distribution, Not for Profit, Finance, IT, Facilities Management and Telecommunications Technology industries ns many times along the journey. Glen also has an interest in Mental Health and is currently studying to gain a Diploma of Counselling with the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors. Appointed as an observer in 2024. DAVID GRAHAM (OBSERVER) David was educated at Heyfield Primary and then Gippsland Grammar for his secondary years. After finishing year 12, he worked with a Timber Import/Export company in Melbourne for 4 years before returning to work in the family business. David has been Sole Director of Vern Graham Pty Ltd since July 2000. He served as a Board Member of Heyfield & District Community Financial Services for 11 years, including 3 years as Treasurer. Being a keen sportsman, David has served on committees of numerous local clubs and community organisations. Appointed as an observer in 2024. MARY MANESCU (OBSERVER) Mary is the CEO of Omeo District Health (ODH). Prior to her appointment at ODH, she held a range of clinical nursing and senior leadership roles in the private and public health sector. She also worked extensively for the Department of Health (Victoria) in various areas including regulation, major capital works, performance and information management. Mary holds a Master of Health Services Management and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Beyond her substantive role, Mary is an accreditation surveyor with the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards Appointed as an observer in 2024.
