Telehealth is the use of video technology to provide healthcare. Information is transmitted electronically to a patient or healthcare professional at a different location. Telehealth enables you to have an appointment with your specialist from your own home or your local health service.

GENERAL INFORMATION​
Central Gippsland Health provides specialist outpatient care to children and adults in the Gippsland and East Gippsland regions. Our organisation is proud to offer telehealth services, and aims to bridge the geographical gap of medical access for patients who reside in rural settings.

Your telehealth consultation can be undertaken from home, or supported by your local GP clinic or healthcare provider. You may also be able to attend the specialist consulting rooms for a supported telehealth consultation with your specialist in Melbourne. Our goal is to provide patient centred expert and individualised care, in partnership with you GP and local healthcare providers.
