BOARD OF DIRECTORS
ARTHUR SKIPITARIS, CHAIR
Arthur is currently the General Manager, Corporate Services for the Wellington Shire Council. Prior to this role, Arthur was a senior executive for the Finance Shared Services Division of General Electric, Australia and New Zealand. He was also the General Manager of Australia Post’s Shared Services Division and has worked in a number of senior banking and finance roles. Arthur holds a Bachelor of Business double major in Accounting and Economics, is a CPA, a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
LAUREN CAREY, VICE CHAIR
An experienced communications and engagement specialist with a Bachelor in Public Relations, Lauren currently works in the energy and mining sector, managing engagement and communications for AGL Loy Yang’s mine rehabilitation program and new energy projects at the Loy Yang site. Prior to returning to the sector, Lauren led the communication, marketing and customer service functions as Manager Engagement and Customer Focus at Latrobe City Council. Earlier in her career, she spent nine years in power generation and mining as the External Communications Manager for ENGIE’s Hazelwood asset, overseeing communications both pre closure and post closure. Born and educated in Sale, Lauren has strong links to the Wellington Shire and is committed to applying her expertise in corporate communications, stakeholder engagement, strategic leadership and governance to support CGHS and its consumers.
JILL LINKLATER
Jill is an experienced non-executive board director, consultant in health, disability and aged care; a national safety and quality health services standards accreditation assessor, NDIS assessor and auditor. Jill’s consultancy work spans projects in the private and public health sector, government sector, aged and disability and rural sector. Jill is a registered nurse with previous extensive health executive experience in health, aged care and disability services in Victoria and overseas; previous nursing advisor and regional manager (Victorian Department of Health); the Director of Aged and Community Care Victoria (Australian Department Health & Ageing); and an experienced consumer advisor and consumer representative in the public and private health services sectors and national peak body. Jill holds a Bachelor of Science Nursing, Master of Health Administration, Graduate Diploma of Health & Medical Law, Graduate of Australian Institute of Company Directors, and is a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and the Australian College of Nursing. Jill was awarded the 2001 Federation Centenary Medal for services to medicine and the community.
PETER (GERRY) WATTS
Gerry has a strong grasp of hospital board governance and an extensive history in procurement, his most recent role being that of Regional Procurement Advisor with Health Purchasing Victoria, which supports a strong understanding of governance, process and probity. Gerry is a competent and experienced Board member who is enthusiastic about his contribution to Central Gippsland Health Service. He holds an Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management, a partial Masters of Information Systems and AICD Clinical Governance.
CLAIRE MILLER
Claire has over 10 years of board level experience across the public and commercial sectors with a focus on the utilities, resources, infrastructure and energy industries. In her executive capacity she has held the role of General Counsel and Company Secretary managing governance, compliance, risk and audit functions across a range of industry sectors including energy, infrastructure, gas, utilities, resources, and property in government, ASX and private entities.
ROCHELLE WRIGGLESWORTH
Rochelle has over 20 years’ experience in financial management, audit and risk. She held senior roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers and was a Principal at Crowe Horwath before co-founding FiveFold Financial in 2013. Rochelle has extensive experience with public sector and not-for-profit organisations, including many years as an audit service provider to the Victorian Auditor-General’s Office. Based in Gippsland, she is passionate about supporting her community and contributing to the region’s long-term prosperity. Rochelle is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Chartered Accountant (Australia and New Zealand), and a Registered Company Auditor with ASIC. She is a director of East Gippsland Regional Water Corporation and serves on the Audit and Risk Committees of the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria, Central Gippsland Health Service, and East Gippsland Regional Water Corporation. She previously served as Chair of the Committee for Gippsland, where she was a director for nine years.
TREVOR GOLDSTONE
A part-time independent consultant and advisor since April 2023, Trevor has held numerous senior and executive level roles with Australia Education Management Group, University of New England, James Cook University, Townsville Enterprise and others. He holds a graduate diploma in Management, and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Recreation Planning and Management).
ADAM KOSTER
Adam, who is also a Board Director with Yarram and District Health Service and Swan Hill District Health, works with Alex Scott Land in a general counsel role, working as both in-house lawyer and sales executive within the company’s transactions and advisory team. He holds a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Arts, Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, Master of Laws from Monash University, and a Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate).
LUIS PRADO
Dr Prado is a Senior Consultant at Queensland Health Metro North Hospital and Health Service. For the last 20 years, he has been the Chief Medical Officer of some of Australia's largest Not for Profit Healthcare groups, namely St John of God Healthcare, Epworth Healthcare and UnitingCare. Dr Prado remains clinically active as a general practitioner alongside his health executive roles. He has led major change programs, delivering transformations to organisational culture, particularly around transparent reporting of performance and investigation of incidents, and delivered a suite of programs to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
