The project to replace floor coverings at Sale Hospital resumed on Monday 4 May and will finish on Monday 29 June, 2026. This important work is being undertaken in ten stages, and various parts of the hospital will be impacted, so it is important to check here for any updates before visiting. Volunteers were acknowledged and celebrated at a High Tea organised by Central Gippsland Health and the Royal Flying Doctor Service as part of National Volunteers Week. Held at the Community Building at Sale Hospital, the volunteers included members of the East Gippsland Dog Obedience Club, who bring their therapy dogs into all CGH aged care homes; Maffra Hospital Auxiliary members; CGH Social Support Group members; the CGH Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island Network Committe
