Volunteers celebrated at High Tea
Volunteers were acknowledged and celebrated at a High Tea organised by Central Gippsland Health and the Royal Flying Doctor Service as part of National Volunteers Week. Held at the Community Building at Sale Hospital, the volunteers included members of the East Gippsland Dog Obedience Club, who bring their therapy dogs into all CGH aged care homes; Maffra Hospital Auxiliary members; CGH Social Support Group members; the CGH Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island Network Committe

Volunteer groups donate oncology chair to CGH
Central Gippsland Health has a new oncology chair to support patients undergoing cancer treatment, thanks to a generous donation from the Aircraft Ground Operations Team and the Friends of CGH. Members of the Aircraft Ground Operations Team presented the funds raised from the 2024 and 2026 airshows to the Friends group toward the cost of a new oncology chair. Team Leader, Ron Gregory, said the donation came from the airshow organisers on behalf of volunteers who donated their
